Bedford Police Announce New Incident Reporting App
The Bedford Police Department has partnered with RELAY to build stronger relationships and communication between residents of the Town of Bedford and the Bedford Police Department.
The new incident reporting mobile app – RELAY – will be live Tuesday, July 28th and available for all Town of Bedford residents, allowing people to report non-emergency issues. Users will be able to add notes, pictures, and a location to their report. Information is immediately relayed to the Bedford Police. In addition, the Relay app has a broadcast messaging function which allows users to receive information about road closures, tips, and alerts.
The Relay app is free, easy to use, and can be downloaded at the Apple App Store and Android Google Play Store by visiting relayapp.com. Relay provides a safe contactless way for the community and police to communicate. For more information, please visit relayapp.com.
RELAY IS NOT DESIGNED TO REPLACE 911. ALL EMERGENCIES SHOULD BE REPORTED VIA PHONE TO 911 OR (914)241-3111.

Welcome to the Relay family, Bedford!
